MINI dealers like us will be pairing up with local athletes, supporting their endeavours to qualify for Team GB or ParalympicsGB.
We are really chuffed to announce that we are now supporting local rower, Moe Sbihi, as he attempts to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Moe trains locally at the Molesey Boat Club. Kingston-upon-Thames-born Moe, at just 23, has already won silver, in the Men’s 8+, at the 2011 World Rowing Championships, silver in the 2011 Munich World Cup and bronze in the 2011 Lucerne World Cup.
“This is just so great,” said Moe. “I can’t thank Cooper Thames Ditton and MINI enough. I spend a lot of time driving to and from training sessions, and driving to events ahead of London 2012, so having a brand new car is amazing. Suddenly, I’m the envy of all my friends!”
